As an Automotive Maintenance Engineer, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, responsible for providing excellent customer service and managing the entire vehicle repair process. You will accurately diagnose vehicle issues, provide clear and concise repair estimates, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Customer Service:
  • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Actively listen to customer concerns and questions.
  • Provide clear and concise explanations of repair procedures and costs.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Vehicle Diagnosis:
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify repair needs.
  • Utilize diagnostic equipment to accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Consult with technicians to determine the most effective repair solutions.
• Work Order Creation:
  • Create detailed work orders, including parts and labor costs, and obtain customer approval.
  • Update work orders as needed to reflect changes in the repair process.
• Parts Ordering and Inventory Management:
  • Order necessary parts and supplies to ensure timely repairs.
  • Monitor inventory levels and identify potential shortages.
• Communication and Coordination:
  • Communicate effectively with technicians, service managers, and other team members.
  • Coordinate with the parts department to ensure timely delivery of parts.
  • Keep customers informed of repair progress and potential delays.
• Quality Assurance:
  • Inspect completed repairs to ensure high-quality workmanship.
  • Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly.
• Administrative Tasks:
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, repair orders, and invoices.
  • Prepare and submit required reports.
