Located in the USA, Road Heroes is a dynamic and rapidly growing company dedicated to delivering excellence in the logistics service industry. We are expanding our operations and seeking to hire a dedicated Accountant / Financial Analyst who, while based in Egypt, has a comprehensive understanding of U.S. accounting standards and practices.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will be an expert in U.S. accounting regulations, including GAAP, US tax laws etc. This role involves book keeping, maintaining our financial records, conducting audits, and generating financial reports to support our decision-making and compliance efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and perform reconciliations of ledger accounts.
  • Oversee bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Conduct thorough audits of financial activities to ensure compliance with U.S. accounting standards and regulations.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, perform variance analysis, and recommend financial actions.
  • Stay informed on the latest U.S. tax laws and accounting practices, such as bonus depreciation and other tax incentives, ensuring our company's compliance and optimization of financial strategies.
  • Collaborate with the U.S. team to align financial strategies and practices.
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.T

Full Training on USA tax procedures and protocols will be provided by us!

 


Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field. A Master’s degree or CPA certification is highly advantageous.Proven experience in book keeping, accounting or financial analysis.Proficiency in Quickbooks accounting software and MS Excel is a MUST.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Fluent in English to effectively communicate with the U.S.-based team and understand U.S. accounting terminology and regulations.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a global team.Preferred Qualifications:CPA or equivalent certification highly preferred.Understanding of U.S. GAAP, IRS regulations, and specific U.S. accounting concepts like bonus depreciation is desired.Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI or Tableau is a BIG PLUS.Experience with international financial reporting and compliance.Knowledge of U.S. financial markets and investment analysis.What We Offer:Competitive salary.The flexibility of remote work with the stability of a full-time/part-time position.Paid Time OffEngagement with a global team and exposure to international financial operations.Opportunities for professional development in U.S. accounting standards and practices.
