- Provide administrative support to lawyer and enhance office effectiveness.
- Prepare case briefs and summarize depositions, interrogatories and testimony.
- Type up and file basic legal documents and correspondence.
- Must stay up to date with healthcare laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure hospital compliance.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to mitigate legal and regulatory risks.
- Review, negotiate, and administer a variety of contracts, including vendor agreements, service contracts, and physician agreements.
- Ensure contracts comply with legal requirements, protect the hospital’s interests, and mitigate potential risks.
- Collaborate with hospital departments and external parties to ensure contract compliance and timely renewal or termination.
- Managing legal disputes and litigation matters related to the hospital.
- Stay informed about regulatory changes and update hospital policies accordingly.
Bachelor's degree in law.Proven experience in legal affairs management, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting.In-depth knowledge of healthcare laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior management.Ability to juggle multiple activities and work under pressureLegal certification or diploma.
