– CIVIL:
- Revise structural drawings to ensure that no conflicts or gaps exist, and undertake the creation and plotting of technical designs (including measurements, levels, and dimensions).
- Compare the project’s architectural and civil drawings to identify any gaps or conflicts, communicate any inquiries to send Request for Information (RFIs) to the project consultant, and communicate relevant information to project site for technical consistency.
- Obtain and assemble all technical information, data, and drawings needed from relevant departments for full coordination of Shop Drawing across the Civil/Structure, Architectural, and Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) architectural designs.
- Receive ‘As Built’ drawings and compare with submitted documents to ensure consistency,
- Prepare all shop drawings and pending list of steel reinforcement needed for execution for onsite and offsite works.
- Redevelop shop drawings according to the changes brought by the technical supervision.
- Carrying out quantitative survey using the Revit program, preparing or reviewing invoices, and reviewing technical contracts.
MECHANICAL:
- Review designs prepared by the consultant; submit related engineering and technical notes to the line manager for approval and check executive panels and submit the required technical amendments to the line manager.
- Define required needs for the project; prepare purchase orders and submit them to the line manager for approval and follow-up with the needs department for the provision of all materials and equipment required for each project on site to avoid project interruption.
- Define quantities and works of the project, prepare payment certificates for contractors, and submit them to the line manager for approval and follow-up approving them by the consultant
- Prepare delivery notes and payment certificate of the owner according to executed works, submit them to the line manager for approval and follow-up delivering them to owner’s consultant for approval and execution.
- Coordinate with Planning Department to prepare and amend the project timetable in case of any new developments, prepare an execution report on weekly and monthly basis and submit it to the line manager.
- Receive, keep and prepare replies to letters of the consultant or the owner and submit them to the line manager and project manager for approval.
- Responsible for preparing & updating projects’ BOQs and calculating quantities.
- Preparing and revising workshop drawings.
- Responsible for the technical revision of all MEP and architecture drawings, at different phases of the work progress.
Bachelor of Mechanical / Civil Engineer3-5 years of experience in related fieldVery good knowledge of programs (Revit, AutoCAD, ASD, cut optimization) is must require- A practical test will be conducted.
