- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any relevant field.
- 5 years of experience in Software Technical Support/Application Support/Software Customer Support.
- Handle incoming support cases through various channels including phone, email, and in-person meetings.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and diagnose SQL jobs, views, and stored procedures using SQL query and scripting techniques.
- Provide step-by-step guidance and follow-ups to ensure complete resolution.
- Remotely or on-site install, configure, and troubleshoot applications.
- Maintain detailed issue tracking and documentation using a ticketing system.
- Deliver comprehensive system training to end-users, explaining technical concepts in clear and understandable terms.
- Adhere to Service Level Agreement (SLA) and Operational Level Agreement (OLA) standards.
Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician or similar roleBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any relevant field. Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Databases scripts.Very good command of the English language (written & spoken). Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environmentsGood understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech productsAbility to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issuesFamiliarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software (eg. Zendesk)Excellent problem-solving and communication skillsAbility to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbalBS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant fieldAdditional certification in Microsoft, Linux, Cisco or similar technologies is a plusFamiliarity with Azure cloud platforms is a plus.Knowledge of ITIL best practices is a plus.
