Resident Engineer Job Description:
- Approved samples.
- Multi national experience in term of executing mix used , office and /or hotel building .
- Arrange a final package for the construction documents (soft copy) dated by the latest issue.
- Coordinate with the site office manager to approve and accept the material.
- Ensure that the final set is existing in site.
- Ensure the staff performance and quality assurance for the site work.
- Arrange a final package for the construction documents (soft copy) dated by the latest issue.
- Original BOQ of specification.
- Original design drawings.
- Prepare a full set (original copy) for all the site documents in the head office
- Prepare a full set of material samples and its suppliers in the site.
- Prepare the method of statement for all the Architectural items for each project, and the phases of inspection required.
- RFI – request for inspection files of log.
- Update this set weekly
- Acting as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, craftspeople and operatives
- Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations;
- Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications;
- Agreeing on a price for materials and making cost-effective solutions and proposals for the intended project;
- Liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project;
- Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force, and the work of any subcontractors;
- Planning the work and efficiently organizing the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines;
- Preparing reports as required;
- Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
