Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the structural design process for various projects, including commercial, residential, and industrial structures.
- Perform structural analysis and design using appropriate software and tools.
- Prepare detailed design calculations, drawings, and specifications.
- Review and ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineering teams to integrate structural designs with overall project objectives.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and technical staff.
- Participate in meetings (Vendor, Internal, and Client), review progress, and address interface/implementation/execution issues.
- Good report writing skills, experience of making presentations to and attending meetings with client is essential.
- Thorough understanding of Engineering planning and control methods.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.At least 10 years of experience in the construction industry.Proficiency in structural analysis software (SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD Pro).Familiarity with Autodesk Revit for structural modeling and documentation.
