Key Responsibilities:
- Develop designs for HVAC systems, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical systems in buildings and infrastructure.
- Provide guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians, fostering professional development.
- Good report writing skills, experience of making presentations to and attending meetings with client is essential.
- Thorough understanding of the roles played by other engineering disciplines and departments on projects.
- Review and validate design outputs, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
- Able to work in project groups with shared-work teams globally, to progress project deliverables.
- Perform calculations to determine heating, cooling, ventilation, Fire protection and water supply requirements, ensuring systems meet performance standards.
- Ensure that designs comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability standards.
- Work closely with architects, structural, electrical engineers, and construction teams to integrate mechanical systems into overall project designs.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports, for regulatory and quality assurance purposes.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.At least 10 years of experience in the construction industry.Good Knowledge in Mechanical Engineering software (AutoCAD, Revit, …).Proficient in Mechanical design software’s ( HAP, Elite, …).
