1.General duties - Monitor bank accounts on daily basis and reconcile the balance taking in consideration entries affecting banks such as custom clears payments, supplier’s transaction, etc...
- Handle all bank transactions, & official correspondence, memos, & letters that are related to import contracts, facilities, L. G’s and advanced payments.
- Post to the subsidiary ledgers and reconciling the ledger accounts.
- Book recurring monthly transactions in and out of the operating bank account (payroll entries, lease payments, rent expenses, etc.)
- Ensure that the bank's accounting practices, classifications, and reporting adheres to compliance and regulatory standards.
- Responsible for interest and debt analysis.
- Prepare bank deposits & post journal entries to the general ledger.
- Manage bank reconciliation procedures.
- Hold the responsibility of closing the books of accounts of a branch at the end of every month.
2.Bank facilities, checks &LGs. - Track loans, premiums and withdrawals to / from banks in order to coordinate re-paid on time to avoid delay penalties.
- Issuing cheque based on a signed fund request, ensure all request is well documented before the issuance (signed PO#, provided invoice, copy of the commercial register and tax ID of the supplier) are attached.
- Ensure that all debit transactions on bank statement have been correctly matched with manual cheques, direct credits and book journals have been matched within the week.
- Issuing LGs after reviewing the contract conditions.
- Monitoring LGs account and provide a weekly report, raising the due LGs to release and close and share it with the receivable team, following up LGs releasing.
- Review & validate all bank fees and commissions updating chief accountant with any unusual charges.
3.Documentation, reporting & data analysis - Update the cash position on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Maintain an accurate, updated and detailed cash / checks logs.
- Prepare regular report with cash flow statement.
- Register different aspects of banking operations on the bank accounts and follow-up with the banks and the movement of work a day and a report printed.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements at the end of each month and quarter.
- Prepare bank treasury relevant reports including bank borrowing, deposits, term loan and auto loan.
- Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records.

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting- preferred English section.+10 years of experience in treasury accounting/cash management is needed.Minimum 4 years’ experience in the Import field is a MUST.Deep experience in bank credit facilities.Hands-on creating and processing LGs and LCs.Familiar with different rules & regulations of CBE and other financial institutions.Familiar with different types of bank forms, contracts, and trade finance.Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel.Odoo ERP user is a plus. Excellent command of English written and spoken.
