- Oversee Production Processes:
Manage and optimize the production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to safety standards.
Lead and supervise production staff, providing training and support to enhance productivity and workplace safety.
Implement quality assurance protocols to ensure all products meet industry standards and customer specifications.
Oversee the warehouse for raw materials and finished goods, collaborating with the procurement team to maintain sufficient supplies for seamless production.
Prepare daily and weekly reports on production metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- Morning Briefings:
Conduct daily meetings with staff to discuss production goals, schedules, and safety protocols.
- Production Monitoring:
Oversee the production line, ensuring that machines run efficiently and address any issues.
- Quality Inspections:
Perform regular checks on product quality, making adjustments to processes as necessary.
- Team Coordination:
Communicate with different departments, such as maintenance and logistics, to ensure smooth operations.
- Data Analysis:
Analyze production data to track performance, identify trends, and develop strategies for improvement.
- Health, Safety, & Environment
Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Food Technology, or a related field.Language: English is very goodExperience: 5 to 10 years experience as a Production Manager, preferably in the pulses, grains, or agricultural sector, Skills: Strong knowledge of production processes and quality control standards, with knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and/or certification in lean practices.
