The Sales Transformation Manager is responsible for catalyzing the Business Unit’s (BU) rapid growth over the next two years by identifying new market opportunities, managing innovation, and enhancing distribution through new routes. This role will involve developing and executing strategic initiatives, forming partnerships, and implementing cutting-edge sales tools and processes that unlock market potential and drive competitive advantage. The Sales Transformation Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with the BU’s ambitious growth targets.
Responsibilities:
- Research and analyze market trends to identify untapped opportunities for expansion and revenue growth.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to explore and evaluate new distribution channels and strategic partnerships.
- Develop entry strategies for new markets and identify the key stakeholders and resources required to capitalize on growth opportunities.
- Lead innovation in sales processes and customer engagement strategies to enhance sales force effectiveness and expand reach.
- Develop, test, and implement new sales techniques and tools to adapt to changing market dynamics.
- Drive adoption of best practices across teams to streamline workflows and boost productivity.
- Identify, negotiate, and establish strategic partnerships to expand the BU’s distribution footprint and customer base.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that partnership agreements align with organizational goals and drive mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Maintain strong relationships with key partners, ensuring alignment with the BU’s growth and innovation strategies.
- Use data analytics to identify sales trends, measure performance, and optimize strategies based on market needs and customer behaviors.
- Provide regular insights and reports to senior management on the progress and outcomes of transformation initiatives.
- Leverage data to make informed decisions on market expansion and growth initiatives.
- Work closely with other departments, including marketing, finance, and operations, to align sales transformation efforts with the overall business strategy.
- Drive effective change management to ensure team alignment with new processes, tools, and growth initiatives.
- Lead training and change adoption efforts to ensure effective implementation of transformation strategies.
Requirement:
- 7+ years in a sales transformation or business development role, ideally within FMCG or a high-growth sector.
- Proven experience in sales strategy, market analysis, and partnership development.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related fields.
