1. Project Study & Technical Review:
Analyze project drawings, specifications, and documents to ensure feasibility.
Prepare technical studies, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and project cost estimates.
Identify potential risks and suggest mitigation strategies.
2. Steel Structure Design:
Design and calculate steel structures using relevant engineering software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, and Tekla).
Ensure compliance with local and international design codes and standards (e.g., AISC, Eurocodes).
Collaborate with consultants and design teams to resolve technical challenges.
3. Procurement & Material Management:
Prepare material lists and specifications based on project requirements.
Source, evaluate, and purchase materials within budget and timeline constraints.
Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance.
4. Coordination & Communication:
Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and consultants to align technical deliverables.
Monitor project schedules and provide technical support during construction.
Maintain proper documentation and reporting for technical office activities.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.A minimum of 3 years of experience.Proven experience in technical office engineering with a focus on steel design and procurement.Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SAP2000, ETABS).Strong understanding of structural design codes and construction practices.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
