- Design, analyze, and maintain advanced experimental setups, with a focus on continuous improvement of laboratory procedures, safety protocols, and database management.
- Lead the design, analysis, and manufacturing of UAVs, including assembly, module testing, and integration of autopilot control systems. Hands-on experience with UAV technology is highly desirable.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of manufacturing techniques such as laser cutting, CNC milling, hot wire foam cutting, FDM & resin 3D printing, metal bending, CNC leather machining, and metal welding.
- Practical experience with these machines is a strong advantage.
- Develop proposals and engage with vendors to procure state-of-the- art teaching and research lab equipment, ensuring the labs are equipped with cutting-edge technology.
- Provide expert support during lab sessions and exams, ensuring safety and addressing any technical issues that arise.
- Collaborate closely with instructors to optimize lab activities, enhancing the learning experience for students.
- Assist and mentor students in their capstone projects, offering technical guidance and ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to successfully complete their work.
A B.Sc. degree in Aerospace Engineering or a closely relatedengineering discipline is required; advanced degrees are a plus. Proven organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.Prior experience in a lab environment, particularly in aerospace or a related field, is highly valued.A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining a safe and innovative laboratory environment.
