- We are looking for a Senior Hydrotherapist to help us with our hydrotherapy unit and establish all of the policies, protocols, and training that will be necessary for its effective use. They will work closely with our operational teams
Receipt the patient and give the order to the nurse to start the assessment of the vital signs.
Identify the possibility to start the physiotherapy session after Reviewing the results of the assessment of the vital signs
In case of the signs are good with no Red Flags, the physiotherapist starts the physical assessment.
In case of any Red Flags, the physiotherapist gives the referral to ER.
Review the history of the patient’s clinical status and check the performed investigations and x-rays.
Perform physical assessment and define the best protocol that suits the patient's clinical status according to department protocols.
Start the therapy session and ensure compliance with IPC and Quality guidelines by wearing a Face mask, Hand gloves, and PPE.
Re-assess the patient's clinical status after “6 Sessions” to evaluate the progression rate and define if the implemented protocol was successful or has to be changed or modified.
Refer the patient to the primary consultant after finishing the physiotherapy scheduled sessions.
Comply with good documentation practices and ensure completeness of patient files.
Orient the patient and the family with the care plan after the assigned sessions.
Bachelor's degree in physiotherapy Certified hydro therapistMore than 5 years of experience in orthopedic and sports injuries rehabilitation More than 2 years of experience in hydrotherapy practice. Preferably DPT or MSc holder
