Senior Accountant

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of our financial reporting and take part in our consolidation and controlling processes.
• Intercompany Invoicing and Reconciliation: Manage invoicing processes and ensure accurate reconciliation between different entities.
• Bank Transaction Management: Book and reconcile bank transactions and payment provider accounts. 
• Cost Analysis: Differentiate between different cost classification and reporting them accordingly.
• Cashflow Management: Oversee accounts payable and reconcile customer accounts, reporting on accounts receivable to stakeholders.
• Tax Accounting and Reporting: Oversee tax compliance, prepare statutory tax provisions, and ensure adherence to GAAP.
• Data Entry and Reports generation: Ensure accurate data entry in accounting software and generate periodical reports.
• Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, on or off site (e.g., Engineering, Sales, HR) to align finance with business objectives, ensuring that the latter are met.
• Ad Hoc Projects: Provide accounting expertise for various projects as needed.

 


Qualifications:• Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting.• CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent certification is preferred.• At least 5 years of experience from an audit firm or working within an accounting function. • Knowledge of Egyptian accounting and invoicing requirements.• Proven experience in cost accounting and taxation. • Prepares payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.• Self-starter with a keen sense of ownership for assigned responsibilities.• Hands-on experience with accounting software• Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Handling documents, finance files and prepare tax documents.• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint)• Good command of English language, both written and spoken.Work Conditions and Benefits:• Working hours: 9:00 to17:00• Days off: Friday and Saturday.• Medical insurance.• Paid vacations and holidays
