1. Draft, modify and implement company’s compliance policies (compliance policy , whistleblowing policy, investigation policy).
2. Update the company with FRA’s laws and its related regulations/decrees relating to microfinance.
3. Revise policies and procedures periodically to identify any compliance risk.
4. Develop proposals for dealing with and mitigating compliance risks.
5. Ensure that the company complies with its the regulatory requirements and internal policies.
6. Track inquiries related to compliance in order to respond to inquiries from various departments to maintain in compliance with laws, regulations
7. Conduct compliance checks to mitigate any violations of legal requirements and company’s policies
8. Conduct governance checks include governance report
9. Deliver awareness sessions and periodically trainings throughout the company in relation to company’s compliance policies
10. Review complaints and take the required action in line with the regulatory requirements
11. Review incidents (ex. Fraud) and participate in the investigation committee
1-3 years of experience as a compliance / AML officer preferable microfinance or Banking Knowledge of FRA’s regulatory requirements. Fluency in both spoken & written English & Arabic language is required.Ability to work independently/on own initiative and as part of the team and ability to both work with accuracy and meet deadlines.Ability to manage competing priorities and comfortable growing and developing with the Group
