To support our growth strategy, we seek an experienced, energetic, and dynamic finance leader to join the KONE Egypt team. The Head of Finance will report directly to the Finance Director for KONE Middle East Turkiye & Africa region and in a matrix to the Managing Director of KONE Egypt. The Position is based in Cairo.
The Head of Finance of KONE Egypt drives and supports achieving KONE’s business objectives by providing strategic direction and support to business stakeholders in financial and commercial matters. The Head of Finance is accountable for the complete and accurate financial information for management and statutory purposes. He/she drives the forecasting and budgeting processes and ensures that relevant policies and controls are implemented. The Head of Finance leads a team of financial professionals in Egypt and acts as the contact point for treasury, tax, and other finance matters for the country.

Are you the one?
- A bachelor’s degree or master’s in finance is a must.
- Minimum 5 years in a Finance Manager or similar position.
- Experience in multi-national companies is a must.
- Experience in matrix organizations.
- Leading and developing people
- Where applicable, lead, direct, and develop a team of finance professionals in the unit to achieve established goals, especially in terms of effective business partnering.
- Coach and engage the team for future requirements.
- Responsible for collaborating and communicating with other finance units, teams, and internal or external partners who are providing services to the unit or units.
- Effective business partnering
- Drive business performance and decision-making by providing strategic guidance, actionable insights, and recommendations to business stakeholders.
- Develop and support the KONE strategy implementation, specifically in customer-facing finance activities such as invoicing collection, etc..
- Contribute to strategic planning at the management team level helping to drive top-line growth and operational efficiency.
- Proactively identify opportunities for improvement by collaborating with different functions.
- Support business stakeholders to focus and prioritize activities that drive customer value and business performance the most.
Efficient financial transactions- Responsible for end-to-end finance process performance in Egypt with complete and accurate financial records.
- Accountable for compliance with local statutory requirements and regulations in areas of financial reporting, treasury, and tax.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies.
- Accountable for efficient and compliant management of financials in the unit or units, specifically in areas of cash flow and accounts receivables.
- Responsible for driving the forecasting and budgeting processes in the unit or units.
- Excellent understanding of ERP and reporting tools, preferrable SAP.
- Highly motivated, goal-oriented, diligent, organized self-starter with an orientation towards a high level of customer service and performance improvement.
- Strong English communication skills – The head of Finance will often have to interact with various stakeholders so the ability to communicate complex data, and to write and speak clearly, are important.
- Attention to detail – You need to be an individual who is precise in their work, able to spot errors, and vigilant to ensure that any problems are corrected for accurate results.
