The Large Corporate team leader - Corporate Banking is responsible for leading and managing a team of Relationship Managers and Credit Analysts within the Large Corporate Banking division. This role involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with large corporate clients, identifying their financial needs, and providing tailored banking solutions. The Team Leader will also be responsible for driving business growth, managing risk, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.


Responsibilities

Team Management:

  • Support, train, and develop a high-performing team of Relationship Managers.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to team members.
  • Manage team workload, allocate resources effectively, and monitor performance against established goals.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.


Client Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of large corporate clients.
  • Understand clients' financial needs and objectives and provide tailored banking solutions.
  • Proactively identify cross-selling opportunities and promote the bank's full range of products and services.
  • Manage client relationships effectively, resolving issues and ensuring client satisfaction.


Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the corporate banking market.
  • Develop and execute business development plans to achieve revenue growth targets.
  • Network with potential clients and industry professionals to expand the bank's client base.


Risk Management:

  • Assess and manage credit risk associated with corporate clients.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Monitor market trends and economic conditions to identify potential risks.


Financial Performance:

  • Track and analyze team performance against key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
  • Develop strategies to improve team efficiency and profitability.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in corporate banking.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing a team and achieving targets.
  • Strong understanding of banking products, services, corporate finance, credit analysis, and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
