We are looking for a proactive and strategic HR Generalist who will be instrumental in establishing and leading the HR department. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of human resources functions, from hiring to onboarding and from employee compensation to evaluation. The HR Generalist will ensure that our company culture thrives and that we are positioned to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop HR Policies and Procedures: Create, implement, and update HR policies and procedures that comply with legal standards and align with our company values and goals.
- Talent Acquisition: Lead recruitment efforts, including developing job descriptions, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and managing the hiring process to ensure a great fit for our team and culture. Also, identifying talents within the organization.
- Onboarding and Training: Design and implement an effective onboarding program for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the company and a comprehensive understanding of their role.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, fostering a positive work environment and addressing any issues that arise promptly and professionally.
- Performance Management: Develop and manage performance review processes, including setting key performance indicators (KPIs), conducting evaluations, and implementing improvement plans as needed.
- Compliance: Ensure the company adheres to all employment laws and regulations, including maintaining accurate employee records and managing workplace safety initiatives.
- Compensation and Benefits: Oversee payroll and benefits administration, including developing competitive compensation packages and managing employee benefits programs.
- HR Strategy: Partner with leadership to align HR initiatives with business objectives, contributing to strategic planning and decision-making processes.
- Culture and Engagement: Develop programs and initiatives to foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture that supports employee retention and satisfaction.
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.3+ years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably in a start-up or fast-paced environment.Strong understanding of HR principles, employment law, and best practices.Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail.Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office Suite.PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
