- Develop and execute strategies for major Direct Material and process purchasing
- Support regional and global commodity strategies by providing customer demands and requirements and driving implementation of the strategies within the area of responsibility.
- Coordinate and/or lead local and global purchasing activities with Purchasing Manager
- Coordinate efforts to develop and implement programs to drive savings, supply base optimization.
- Coordinate and conduct quarterly supplier reviews, and supplier qualifications using SQM.
- Negotiate prices, terms and quality requirements with domestic and international suppliers for direct material requirements with Purchasing Manager.
- Manage and negotiate all commercial aspects of the contracts with suppliers.
- Managing the logistics activities and process selecting the optimal shipping cost.
- Following and nominating the F.F and broker to make sure the delivery in place with no deviation.
- Provide customer service to key plant end-users by reporting target achievement results on periodic basis, as well as, interfacing with key support groups to resolve issues.
- Support purchase-to-pay process ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or commercial.
