Technical Manager

VPSie " - Egypt - Cairo

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Manager to lead our technical team responsible for the implementation and support of the VPSie Platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Kubernetes, Networks, VMware and Nutanix technologies, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in managing technical teams and projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership:
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the technical team.
  • Ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
  • Project Management:
  • Plan, execute, and oversee projects related to VPSie platform.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless integration and support.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the team.
  • Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in virtualization, backup, and storage solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions.
  • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Client Support:
  • Act as a point of escalation for client issues.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes, Network, VMware and Nutanix platforms.
  • Strong understanding of virtualization technologies.
  • Experience with automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
  • Leadership Skills:
  • Proven experience in managing technical teams.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Project Management:
  • Experience in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Customer Focus:
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to handle client escalations effectively.
  • Experience in managing client relationships.
  • Experience:
  • 5-7 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on VMware and Nutanix technologies.
