Manufacturing Internal Audit Section Head

Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Internal Auditor is responsible for conducting audits within the manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. This role involves evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of manufacturing operations, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial and operational information.

Key Responsibilities:
o Develop and implement audit plans and programs specific to manufacturing processes.
o Conduct audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes for the manufacturing functions.
o Evaluate compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements for the manufacturing functions.
o Analyze manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies, risks, and areas for improvement.
o Review production records, quality control procedures, and inventory management practices.
o Review and verify the records of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities for production equipment and lines, ensuring proper installation and replacement of spare parts.
o Prepare detailed audit reports that summarize findings, conclusions, and recommendations related to machinery and manufacturing functions. 
o Maintain comprehensive documentation of audit procedures, findings, and corrective actions.
o Identify potential risks within manufacturing operations and recommend mitigation strategies.
o Monitor the implementation of corrective actions and follow up on audit recommendations.
o Provide training and guidance to manufacturing staff on internal controls and compliance requirements.
o Participate in special projects and initiatives aimed at improving manufacturing processes and controls.
o Ensure that spare parts and machine consumables are purchased at appropriate market prices and with the required technical specifications.
o Analyzing market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.


o Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related fieldo 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing, maintenance, or internal auditing.o Professional certificate in Maintenance, Quality control, auditing would be a plus.o Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and inventory management.o Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and data analysis tools.o Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.o Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.o Excellent communication, and report-writing skills.
