- Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force, supplied stone and all work related.
- Check plans, shop drawings, quantities and specifications for accuracy of calculations and project requirements.
- Oversee the selection, supply and installation of stone and ensure that all materials used, and work performed are as per specifications.
- Prepare reports about variation orders, site instructions, Material Inspection Request (MIR), Contractor Inspection Request (CIR)… etc.
- Make cost-effective solutions and proposals for the intended project.
- Liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project for the stone scope.
- Attend regular progress meetings and provide daily reports.
- Distribute manpower on site as required and plan the work in order to meet agreed deadlines.
- Monitor the safe storage and handling of stones on site.
- Oversee quality control and health and safety matters.
- Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
- Prepare quantity survey for finished work and snag list.
Architectural background is a must.Excellent verbal and written communications skillsProficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).AutoCAD and Adobe a plus.Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work well with a variety of people and personalities.
