The Senior Pet Nutritionist at Purity is responsible for creating and optimizing pet food formulas that prioritize the health and wellness of pets while adhering to regulatory guidelines and industry standards. This role plays is pivotal in driving product innovation and ensuring the highest level of nutritional quality in our pet food offerings.
- Formulation Development: Develop, refine, and optimize pet food formulas that cater to the specific nutritional requirements of different pet species (dogs, cats, etc.) and life stages (puppies, kittens, seniors, etc.).
- Ingredient Sourcing: Collaborate with the procurement team to source high-quality ingredients that meet nutritional standards and ethical sourcing guidelines.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and ensure that all pet food products meet the necessary nutritional and labelling requirements.
- Quality Control: Work closely with the QMS team to maintain strict quality control standards throughout the production process.
- Research and Innovation: Stay current with the latest research and trends in pet nutrition to identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation.
