We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced IT Recruiter with a strong background in e-commerce to join our recruitment team. The IT Recruiter will focus on sourcing and hiring top talent for technical roles, specifically for our growing e-commerce operations. This role involves working closely with IT, product, and engineering teams to understand technical requirements, as well as supporting the fast-paced, dynamic needs of an e-commerce business.
Key Responsibilities:
- E-commerce Talent Acquisition: Source and recruit IT professionals with experience in e-commerce platforms, payment gateways, mobile apps, and online retail technologies.
- Proactive Sourcing: Use multiple channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and e-commerce communities, to identify and engage with high-caliber IT candidates.
- Screening & Interviewing: Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess both technical skills and cultural fit, particularly in the context of the e-commerce environment.
- Collaboration with Hiring Managers: Partner with engineering, product, and e-commerce teams to understand specific technical needs for roles such as software developers, DevOps engineers, data analysts, UX/UI designers, and more.
- Manage Recruitment Pipeline: Maintain a pipeline of potential candidates, particularly those with experience in e-commerce platforms such as Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce, and others.
- Drive Candidate Experience: Ensure a seamless and positive experience for all candidates, guiding them through the recruitment process and maintaining clear communication.
- Tech Assessments & Evaluations: Coordinate and manage technical assessments, ensuring they are relevant to the e-commerce sector and the specific technical stack of the organization.
- Data-Driven Recruitment: Track recruitment metrics (time to fill, candidate quality, etc.) and use data to refine and improve recruitment strategies.
- Offer Negotiation & Closing: Manage offers and negotiation, ensuring competitive packages are aligned with market rates, particularly for e-commerce tech roles.
Qualifications:Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.Experience:Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an IT Recruiter, with specific experience recruiting for e-commerce or online retail technology roles.Proven track record in recruiting IT professionals for e-commerce platforms (e.g., Magento, Shopify, etc), payment systems, mobile apps, and digital commerce operations.Skills:Expertise in recruitment tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and e-commerce talent platforms.Excellent knowledge of IT roles and skills, particularly in the e-commerce industry (e.g., front-end/back-end development, cloud infrastructure, cyber-security, etc.).Strong communication and negotiation skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in a fast-paced e-commerce company or recruitment agency specializing in e-commerce IT roles.Certification in recruiting or human resources (CIR, SHRM-CP, etc.).Knowledge of industry trends in online retail, digital marketing, and payment systems.
