Job Purpose

Responsible for aligning HR strategies with business goals, ensuring effective management of HR operations, talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation & benefots, and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.This role plays a critical part in supporting organizational growth and enhancing employee engagement.

Acts as an agent of change by defining action plans, implementing agreed initiatives and continuously evaluating its impact on employee and business.

Key Result Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements HR business plans aligned with the company’s strategic objectives. Supports the rollout of new initiatives, policies, and operational enhancements in collaboration with the Hub CEO and GDHR.
  • Prepares and monitors the manpower forecast, budget, and cost estimates. Manages manpower utilization and HR expenditures, ensuring alignment with budget parameters and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Oversees talent acquisition, retention, employee relations, payroll, compensation and benefits, and HRIS, ensuring compliance with company policies. Partners with Sharjah HQ HR teams for guidance and support.
  • Manage competitive compensation and benefits programs, lead pay reviews, and implement rewards & recognition strategies to enhance employee satisfaction.
  • Leads the implementation of new initiatives, such as system enhancements, ensuring stakeholder buy-in, effective communication, and smooth execution across teams.
  • Supports line managers in recruitment and selection processes, preparing manpower plans, conducting interviews for management positions, and recommending offers aligned with company policies.
  • Coaches and supports line managers in performance evaluation, productivity improvement, and the implementation of performance-based rewards and recognition programs.
  • Manages employee relations and daily payroll operations, ensuring error-free, timely transactions that comply with HR policies and local regulations.
  • Collaborates with L&D teams to implement learning and succession planning programs. Arranges internal/external training courses to enhance employee development.
  • Oversees employee welfare services, grievance handling, and disciplinary actions, ensuring fair treatment and compliance with policies.
  • Ensures HR policies adhere to local legal requirements, consulting with legal counsel on disputes and advising management on appropriate actions.
  • Gathers employee feedback to evaluate HR performance, identify gaps, and improve workplace culture and environment.
  • Maintains strong relationships with government authorities and HR networks to facilitate daily operations and resolve administrative matters.
  • Manages the performance of the HR team by setting clear KPIs. Provides ongoing coaching and development to foster team capabilities.

Qualifications (Academic, Training, Languages)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of HR systems and tools, preferably SAP
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Work Experience

  • 8-10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or senior HR leadership role.
  • Experience working in multinational environments or across different regions is a plus.
  • Aviation experience will be prefered.
  • Proven track record in managing full-cycle HR operations, including recruitment, compensation, employee relations, and payroll.
  • Familiarity with legal compliance and labor laws in the respective region.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities, with a focus on building effective relationships across departments and levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage conflicts, resolve grievances, and drive performance improvements.
  • Experience leading HR transformations, including the implementation of new systems, policies, and cultural initiatives.
