- Payroll Processing:
- Accurately process payroll on monthly basis, including calculating wages, benefits, taxes, and other deductions.
- Ensure timely payroll submissions and payments in compliance with company policies and labor regulations.
- Manage adjustments related to overtime, incentive, leaves of absence, and terminations.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and tax obligations.
- Prepare and submit required payroll-related reports, including tax filings.
- Stay updated with changes in labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Employee Support:
- Address payroll-related inquiries from employees, providing clear and timely responses regarding payments, deductions, and discrepancies.
- Assist with new hire onboarding by ensuring payroll information is correctly input and employee data is maintained in payroll systems.
- System and Data Management:
- Maintain and update payroll systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Ensure employee records are up to date, including contracts, promotions, and benefit changes.
- Generate payroll reports and provide insights for management on payroll trends, costs, and forecasts.
- Audits and Reconciliation:
- Conduct regular audits of payroll procedures to ensure accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
- Reconcile payroll-related accounts and collaborate with the Finance team to ensure accurate general ledger entries.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify and recommend improvements to payroll processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Lead or participate in payroll system upgrades, automation projects, or the implementation of new payroll software as needed.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.Experience: Minimum 4-6 years of experience in payroll management, preferably within the F&B or hospitality sector.Technical Skills: Proficiency in payroll software and strong Excel skills.Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, taxation, and labor laws.Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to manage complex calculations.
