Job role:
- Patient Interaction: Greeting patients as they arrive at the dental office with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
- Appointment Scheduling: Managing the dental office schedule by scheduling and confirming patient appointments.
- Billing and Payments: Collecting and processing payments for dental services.
- Administrative Tasks: Performing general administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and managing office supplies. Assisting with the completion of patient forms and paperwork.
- Phone Management: Answering and directing phone calls in a professional manner. Taking and relaying messages to appropriate staff members.
- Patient Intake: Welcoming new patients, collecting necessary information, and assisting with the completion of initial paperwork. Providing patients with necessary forms and ensuring they understand the office policies.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborating with other members of the dental team, including dental assistants, hygienists, and the office manager, to ensure smooth workflow. Communicating effectively with dental professionals regarding patient needs and schedules.
- Patient Follow-Up: Following up with patients regarding appointment reminders and post-treatment care instructions. Seeking patient feedback and addressing any concerns or issues.
- Multitasking: Handling multiple tasks simultaneously, such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing administrative responsibilities.
- Problem-Solving: Addressing patient concerns or conflicts and finding appropriate resolutions. Collaborating with the dental team to troubleshoot any challenges that may arise.
