SunPyramids Tours Group is hiring “Reservation Manager” for our hotels, cruises, dahabeyas, and restaurants.
RESERVATION MANAGER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Allocate daily tasks to reservation staff.
- Review reservations booked daily.
- Review arrival report daily.
- Prepare the occupancy forecast report.
- Supervise and train subordinates.
- Record hotels' rates both in the system and correspondence file.
- Liaise with the concerned departments regarding occupancy and reservation rates analysis.
- Create various production reports and provide them to each department concerned.
- Monitor telephone manners and general performance of reservations staff daily.
- Ensure special handling of repeat guests and VIP guests.
- Monitor and coordinate group reservations activity with the sales department.
- Follow up on tentative bookings and update reservation status.
- Oversee and handle all aspects of reservations, hotels, cruises, and restaurants.
- Liaise with hotels, and other service providers to negotiate rates, confirm availability, and resolve any issues.
- Work closely with other departments, such as sales and marketing & operation.
- Handle complaints and resolve booking-related issues diligently to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Explore new products recently opened hotels, cruises, dahabeyas, restaurants..etc.
- Review no-show and canceled reservations and process charges according to the hotel’s policy.
- Review room blocking for long Stay. suites and special group requests.
- Bring to the front office manager's attention when the hotel availability status is changed and prepare for necessary action.
- Ensure smooth and efficient operations in the department through prompt, effective, and proper reservations service to achieve maximum revenue to meet or exceed the revenue target.
- Supervise general job Performance of reservation staff implementing policies and procedures, responsible and perform any other duties that might requested by GM.
- In general, perform any other duties that might requested by GM
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.Minimum 10 years of experience.Minimum of three years of experience in a similar position.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Proficiency in reservation software and MS Office.
