Learning Objectives:
- Develop proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
- Learn storytelling techniques, pacing, and the importance of narrative in video content.
- Gain experience with color correction, sound design, and motion graphics.
- Understand the entire video production workflow from pre-production to post-production.
- Work with the creative team to ensure the video aligns with brand guidelines and project objectives.
Responsibilities:
Assist in Editing:
- Edit raw footage into polished videos that meet project requirements.
- Trim footage segments, add music, dialogues, graphics, and effects.
Content Organization:
- Organize media assets (video clips, music, photos) for projects.
- Manage and archive ongoing and completed projects for future reference.
Collaborate on Creative Projects:
- Work alongside the creative team to brainstorm and execute video ideas.
- Participate in concept development for video projects.
Revisions and Feedback:
- Make revisions based on feedback from senior editors and clients.
- Apply final edits and export videos in various formats.
Stay Current:
- Stay updated on video editing trends and new techniques.
- Suggest creative approaches to video content when appropriate.
Requirements:
- Education: Pursuing a degree in Film, Media, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Skills:
- Basic knowledge of video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.).
- Understanding of video production and post-production processes.
- Creativity and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Preferred but Not Required:
- Experience with motion graphics, 3D animation, or graphic design.
- Familiarity with camera operation, lighting, and audio recording.
