The Accounting Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, including maintaining the general ledger, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and supervising accounting staff. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- manage all accounting functions, including General Accounting, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Inventory and Fixed Assets.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive financial control framework to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
- Oversee month-end and year-end close processes.
- Conduct financial analysis, interpret financial data, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
Oversee tax compliance and ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns.- Develop and implement business development strategies, including financial parameters for customer agreements & funding.
- Lead the development of long-term financial plans and strategies that support value creation for shareholders.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry best practices.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance and CMA/MBA.Prefer cairo university or ain shams university graduatedMinimum 15 years of experience in a senior accounting or finance role, preferably within the Export, Import & Express industry.Proven track record of successfully managing financial controls and mitigating financial risks.Experience in developing and implementing financial budgets, forecasts, and reporting procedures.Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.Proficiency in accounting ERP (e.g., Odoo, Oracle and AX Dynamics) & financial modeling tools.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Have a drive license 35 years +New Cairo residence or near byFluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken is a MUST
