As an application support team member, you will be expected to
Deploy and install client systems as
- Use your knowledge of windows server installation and configuration of different roles to make proper deployment suggestions in release deployment process and deploy/package the application Services releases.
- Use Knowledge of IIS web server to deploy/package the application web releases.
- Use knowledge of database servers MSSQL and queries to prepare/modify the needed scripts to deploy Databases to client systems.
- Short or Long Travel outside Egypt to support company clients.
Investigate and resolve client issues as
- Use knowledge and training of application components to find missing components for the services and websites needed.
- Use knowledge and training of application to troubleshoot environment specific issues by reviewing event viewer logs and application logs.
- Use knowledge and training of application database servers MSSQL to investigate SQL issues with client systems. Respond to the customers in the agreed service level agreement.
- Review/Own tickets system for pending tickets and action it if needed with escalation to proper departments when needed. understand client issues and help reproduce it.
Support other teams with needed support tasks
- Maintain application support documentation.
- Design and support application reports.
- Write administration/installation and configuration and other guides for the applications and train client staff on delivered systems.
B.A. in Computer Sciences, or related fieldMinimum of 3 years’ experience in a software Industry with minimum 2 year in a support roleknowledge of database servers MSSQL and SQL language (MySQL and oracle is a plus)very good English is a MUSTprevious experience following manual and deploying applicationsHard worker and adaptive in response to new reactionsExcellent organizational, analytical, as well as oral and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)Proven documentation skills with consistent accuracy of detailsStrong understanding of change control processes, time management, multi-tasking and attention to detail.Strong knowledge of Network and HTTP conceptsAbility to investigate, analyze information and to draw conclusions in order to troubleshoot issuesExperience in supporting a 24 x 7-hour environmentPossibly to Travel for periods around 3 months or morePlus, to have:The ability to explain complicated concepts in a simple mannerStrong Knowledge of Security and Pen Test ConceptsKnowledge of Stress Test tools and methodologiesFlexibility to align work hours with business processes and afterhours system.Proven ability to understand a customer’s business environment and processes
