Job Responsibilities:
Financial Record Management:
- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, accounts, and journals.
- Track and document financial transactions accurately.
Financial Analysis:
- Analyze financial statements and prepare reports on financial performance.
- Identify financial trends and provide recommendations for cost-saving and efficiency improvements.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor and report on budget variances.
Tax Preparation:
- Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Advise on tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
Auditing:
- Conduct internal audits to verify the accuracy of financial records.
- Assist with external audits and provide necessary documentation.
Accounts Payable/Receivable:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices and payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial records.
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with financial laws and regulations.
- Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
Payroll Processing:
- Manage payroll, including calculating wages, deductions, and tax withholdings.
- Ensure timely and accurate payment of salaries.
Financial Software Management:
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) for managing financial data.
- Generate financial reports and statements using accounting software tools.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent certification is often preferred. Previous experience in accounting, finance, or a related field. Proficiency in accounting software . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.High attention to accuracy in financial record-keeping. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
