PMO Supervisor (Planning & Cost Control)

Responsible for coordinating and working with the project management team to resolve project issues to ensure the delivery/completion of the project work within the budge, time and to the quality of workmanship specified.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and developing the projects’ master time schedule.
  • Developing and reviewing the daily report with the Project Manager to assist in updating the project Master and Detailed schedule.
  • Attending meetings for specific projects to ensure that all the project schedules are being adhered to and discussing amendments as necessary.
  • Facilitating the development of a project's S–Curve and update it monthly considering delays and feedback from Contractors and Consultants.
  • Preparing and Monitoring logs (Material, Shop drawings & Procurement) for a variety of projects.
  • Creating and monitoring the cost loading schedule for projects as assigned.
  • Creating and monitoring the Contractor pre-meeting submittals log.
  • Reviewing and Monitoring the Contractor Monthly Report and provide additional comments to the Project Manager.
  • Monitoring the Contractor time schedule depending on Contract, specifications, and drawings.
  • Preparing the Monthly progress report highlighting concerns and any delays in the project schedule.
  • Assisting in Monitoring Tender documents during the design phase of the project.
  • Tracking issued contracts and purchasing orders and allocate them on the budgeted cost items.
  • Reviewing invoices and properly records projects’ expenditures.
  • Reviewing and verifying variation orders and claims from suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree of Engineering in Civil, Constructions Management or any related discipline
  • 5+ Years’ experience in the project management field with experience in construction sites/projects.
