Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Product Designer at COW in Cairo, Egypt. The Senior Product Designer will be responsible for leading the visual design, design thinking, user research, product design, and UX research efforts for the company on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications

1. Concept Creation

• Create Annual Mood Boards.
• Build a research for annual international trends.
• Able to generate Mood Boards for each season and to meet our clients needs.
• Able to present the Mood board creative concepts for Cow/ Wold&Co. to the team.

1. Product Design

• Capable of personally design, overlook and ensure quality applicability.
• Provide creative Display ideas.

1. Cow Trading 

• Able to work in cooperation with the workshop.
• Capable to create prototypes.
• Communicate and design the production calendar in coordination with head of workshop.

1. Art Installation

• Prepare the design Art installation and implementation.
• Ensure quality for Corporate products and windows display.
• Quality Control.

1. Admin Work

• Submit all your projects on Wrike.
• Having the possession of a Petit Cash.
• Create Production and Product Calendars.
• Develop a Database for all Artisans on Google drive.

1. Outsourcing tasks

• Outsourcing of Artisans, workshops and samples.
• Visiting Art exhibitions.
• Gathering Artisans samples, fetching.
• Visits for workshops.
• Create product follow ups and define dead lines

Corporate Service

• Manage any production needed in Cow Trading’s Corporate Service.

Events Décor

• Manage any production needed in any event décor deal through Cow Trading.

Job requirements

• Bachelor degree in Fine Arts or a related field
• Product Design

• 3- 6 years of experience 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, and Power Point), Adobe Photoshop
• Illustrator
• In-Design
• Autocad

• Planning and organization skills to be able to run and monitor the production process;
• The ability to act decisively and solve staff or equipment-related problems;
• Attention to detail to ensure high levels of quality;
• Strong negotiation skills for getting materials within budget and at the right time;
• The ability to work under pressure and motivate others to meet tight deadlines;
• The ability to work in a logical, systematic manner.
