Operation Supervisor - Vox Cinema

Role Summary

The role of the Supervisor is to ensure the smooth operation of Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment attractions in close conjunction with the Associate Manager or/and Manager and to lead the Customer Service Officer team on the assigned shift to guarantee excellent guest satisfaction, by providing an exciting and enjoyable experience in a clean and safe environment.

ROLE PROFILE

  • Carries out the daily walk through to identify faults, breakdowns and equipment deficiencies for the facility and reports any issues to his/her Line Manager and the relevant Technician.
  • Supports the management team in supervising designated teams to ensure that team members are adhering to schedule, shift rota’s and Customer Service Officer tasks accordingly.
  • Monitors the facility and equipment through audits, asset registers and periodic services.
  • Responsible for completing daily, weekly, monthly checklists/reports.
  • Provides support in training and mentoring new joiners on procedures for attending and operating rides efficiently and safely
  • Ensures that all team members, third parties, and contractors use the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required in the correct manner
  • Controls, issues and monitors float and cash collection at the end of the shift.
  • Ensures implementing the correct opening and closing procedures, programming, petty cash, cashier balancing, etc. and ensuring these procedures are done in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Diploma/certification in any discipline and/or relevant experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a fast-paced operational environment with at least 1 year as Customer Service Officer and/or Customer Service Representative.
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge in inventory cycle.
  • Demonstrate strong communication (oral & written), organization, management, and leadership skills to lead in a positive environment
  • Experienced with customer service, sales techniques, and interpersonal social skills
