Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supervising operators.
  • Coordinate all activities within the Cell and make the necessary operational decisions.
  • Guide the decision-making process in all operational matters as well as priorities duties and complete assigned tasks effectively.
  • Handover from previous shift (15 mins before start of shift)
  • Review resources on the line, all lines start on time (discipline, uniforms, finger codes , gloves, ESD Straps.
  • Perform 5S audit as per checklist on the production board.
  • Collect all rejects from the line & put in proper location.
  • Check the orders “AMS”, shipment confirmations.
  • Check the Hijunka boxes are being followed.
  • Fill in Hourly production sheets.
  • Check that Ops work According to W.I., care points, etc.
  • Re-train if necessarily or take action.
  • Scan rejected (components) of previous shift.
  • Check that line is related as per Q.C.P
  • Production boards +proper use of locked reject boxes.
  • Review visual management and update if necessarily.
  • Ensure the closing of shift is done properly
  • Cleaning, re-filling of material, returnable jigs, etc.
  • Reject are properly labeled and in their respective area.
  • Check & approve OEE sheets.
  • Send hand over by email to the team.


Qualifications:

  • Production Engineering Degree.
  • At least 1 year of work experience as production Engineering in Manufacturing.
  • Capability of using improvement tools and techniques.
  • Be ready to take up challenges and able to trouble shoot technical problems.
  • Be hard working and creative.
  • Good interpersonal skills and positive team approach.
  • A careful, accurate and patient nature.
  • Be self-disciplined, safety-conscious and practical.
