- Maintain contact, prepare, and submit curricular materials to external agencies (Ministry of education) for review and approval.
- Check the curriculum and make sure that it is aligned with the accredited standards.
- Review the scope and sequence of each subject annually.
- Supervise quarter exams, prepare exam schedules, analyze the students’ results and create comparison graphs.
- Analyze core subjects’ and standardized assessment results regularly.
- Determine the areas that need improvement by the academic staff.
- Set appropriate action plans accordingly.
- Schedule standards / strands / students based remedial exams and summer course according to students’ needs.
- Update the academic policy to re-assess the weak students’ performance on a quarterly basis.
- Modify the support program upon students’ needs.
- Provide guidance for instructional improvement through library resources, audio-visual resources, and technology to support student learning.
- Conduct training workshops and monitor staff members on using the provided digital resources.
- Administer teachers on-site training workshops.

- Administer the map testing and submit reports to the school principal after each season.
- Conduct ELEOT and class visits regularly.
- Analyze the ELEOT reports and the class visits conducted by the heads of departments, and submit performance follow up reports to the school principal quarterly.
- Advise the high school students and help them choose the suitable electives.
- Prepare the transcripts and follow up with Cogina authentication team.
- Arrange visits to some universities with the high school students.
- Be involved in the strategic planning with the school principal in the academic area.
- Provides guidance for curriculum development and evaluation based on goals and objectives including outcomes measurement.
- Monitors and evaluates with the school principal the quality and cost effectiveness of academic programs.
