- Determine fixed costs in addition to planning and recording variable costs.
- Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies.
- Analyze and report cost margins by activity and segment.
- Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions and cost savings.
- Develop and maintain the organization's cost accounting system, documents, and records.
- Prepare and complete internal cost audits.
- Analyze any changes in goods or services provided that affect the cost.
- Analyze cost centers and prepare regular reports comparing standard to actual costs.
- Review cost and variance trends and research significant variations.
BSc degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant study.Proven 3-5 years of work experience as a Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst, Accountant or similar role.Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.Excellent working knowledge of computer software including Excel and ERP systems. Excellent time management skills.Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information.
