Senior Internal Audit – Risk Consulting For Forvis Mazars - Mostafa Shawki

Location / Cairo- Downtown

Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a team to perform operational, financial, and investigative audits and risk advisory services.

• Prepares audit programs and assist in conducting the field work in accordance with audit programs and plans for various types of audits.

• Prepares/review engagement work papers to adequately document the results, in accordance with the Mazars internal audit manual and methodologies.

• Provides periodic status updates in a timely manner to the managers.

• Assess and develop policies, procedures, internal controls, and governance structure, and prepares reports and recommendations for improvement.

• Consistently communicates progress and difficulties encountered on assignments.

• Initiates and develops relationships with other consultants and clients as part of her/his roles.

• Responds properly to clients’ requests or inquiries.

• Demonstrates willingness to learn and capacity for growth by embracing challenges.

• Uphold the Mazars's code of ethics and business conduct.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent from an accredited institution.

• Member or finalist of professional qualification preferred such as CIA, CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent.

• 3-4 years of relevant experience (Experience in risk advisory, internal audit, or external audit roles are preferred).

• Knowledge of the IIA Standards for the professional practice in Internal Auditing.

• Knowledge of internal audit procedures and techniques, internal controls, governance and compliance.

• Solid understanding of Internal Audit and Risk Assessment Methodologies and practices.

• Ability to communicate at all levels with tact and diplomacy, both orally and in writing.

• Ability to make clear presentations.

• Ability to efficiently manage time and workload.

• Ability to multi-task with minimal supervision.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

• Fluency in English language (writing and speaking)
