Continuous Improvement Engineer

• Identify, analyze, and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.

• Apply Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and 5S techniques to optimize production processes.

• Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.

• Conduct time and motion studies to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.

• Assist in planning and scheduling production activities to ensure timely delivery of products.

• Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to address any process-related issues.

• Monitor production metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to track performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Support the implementation of new technologies and automation to enhance production efficiency.

• Conduct root cause analysis to identify the sources of waste and inefficiencies in the production process.

• Develop and implement strategies to minimize waste and improve resource utilization.

• Train and educate production staff on waste reduction techniques and best practices.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging employee involvement and feedback.

• Coaching, guiding, empowering, and mentoring production supervisors in the use of Lean manufacturing tools.

• Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects and initiatives.

• Coordinating the Kaizen Events.

• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive.

• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to understand production requirements and constraints.

• Oversee the maintenance and calibration of production equipment.

• Work with maintenance teams to address equipment failures and downtime.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards.

• Prepare and present reports on production metrics, issues, and improvements.


• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.• +2 years of experience in continuous improvement or related field (related to sheet metal manufacturing industry).• Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma (e.g., Green Belt) is a must.• Strong command of English, both written and verbal.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and process improvement tools.• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.• Experience in monitoring and improving production metrics, including Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).• Experience with process improvement tools and methodologies such as Kaizen, 5S and Value Stream Mapping.• Solid understanding of quality management systems, such as ISO standards.
