The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and improving the quality control processes throughout the production cycle. This role involves evaluating materials, inspecting finished products, and ensuring that all items meet the company’s quality standards and industry regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in apparel manufacturing, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:Inspection and Testing: Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications and standards.Quality Control Procedures: Develop, implement, and monitor quality control procedures and standards for all stages of production.Issue Resolution: Identify defects or quality issues, analyze root causes, and collaborate with production teams to develop corrective actions.Documentation: Maintain detailed records of quality inspections, test results, and non-conformance reports. Prepare and present reports on quality performance to management.Factories Management: Evaluate and monitor factories performance and work with factories to address any quality issues throughout the production phases.Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to improve quality processes, enhance product durability, and reduce defects. Stay current with industry trends and best practices. Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Production, Quality Assurance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).0-2 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control within the apparel industry.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure. Proficiency in Google Sheets and Microsoft Office Suite.Familiarity with textile properties, garment construction, and quality standards. Understanding of industry regulations and compliance requirements.Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and suppliers.Quality Assurance certification is a plus.
