The MEL (Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning) Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring that our learning programs create measurable and significant impacts on learners' lives. MEL Specialist will focus on:
- Monitoring program implementation and progress.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of learning outcomes.
- Learning from our findings to continually improve our programs.
MEL Specialist goal is to provide Sprints with data-driven insights that help to deliver the most effective and impactful learning experiences possible.
Key Responsibilities
Monitoring and Evaluation Implementation
- Manage, implement and monitor frameworks to assess program effectiveness, learner outcomes, and overall impact.
- Lead the execution of monitoring and evaluation plans, including selecting appropriate data collection methods.
Data Management and Analysis
- Conduct the data collection, analysis, and interpretation of data to assess program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct data validation to ensure the accuracy and reliability of collected information.
Collaboration and Integration
- Work with program teams to integrate MEL processes into program design and implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, curriculum developers, instructional designers, technology teams, and customer support to ensure effective coordination and program delivery
- Collaborate with the project squad team to discuss multiple program-related points and provide valuable insights.
Reporting and Improvement
- Gather and report hiring status data for BootCamp participants based on impact survey calls, providing valuable insights into program effectiveness and learner outcomes.
- Update learners' records with new hire information and/or changes in employment status
- Provide regular reports and analyses to stakeholders, demonstrating program impact and suggesting areas for improvement.
- Measure the impact of learning programs on learners via calls and emails, conduct impact assessment/analysis for different learning programs, and provide suggestions for improvements
- Report issues and bugs to the product team for further improvement and test their newly released features
- Provide regular reports and analyses to stakeholders to demonstrate program impact and outcomes.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant fieldExperience: Minimum 1 year experience in a similar roleSkills: Proficiency in Google Suite and technology awareness.Strong problem-solving abilities and teamwork skills.Excellent command of written and spoken English.Self-organization and time management skills.Excellent communication skills and a people-oriented approach.
