Budgets and Plans

• Contribute to the preparation of the planning department budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues and areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified

Strategic Planning 

• Contribute in managing current and long-term forecast projections to drive production and inventory planning goals
• Developing the zero-loss journey master plan for inventory 
• Receive the yearly / quarterly sales forecast and export yearly to prepare the production plans taking into consideration the available lines capacity and the available stocks of finished goods and raw & packaging materials. 
• Ensure MRP on a regular basis and place purchase orders accordingly to ensure orders / supplies are in line with the production plan.
• Coordinate the new products launches process by working closely with Marketing, Production, & Purchasing.

Planning Operations

• Leading S&OP cycle including supply review meeting and TMR supply part
• Supervises the day-to-day operations of planning to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes, and procedures 
• Investigate root cause for unfavorable trends; implement corrective actions where appropriate and suggest ways to improve the current flow process. 
• Ensure all data is entered accurately into the company’s information system in accordance with company’s Work Order processes and procedures.
• Supervise the implementation of projects to ensure that the project cycle is completed, meeting agreed project parameters (cost budget, timelines, scope, and quality), standards and objectives
• Participate in the technical evaluation of project proposals to ensure the fit between the proposals and company requirements 
• Keep detailed records, generate reports, and develop presentations to help management decide the direction 

Reporting

• Supervise the preparation of timely and accurate reports of planning to meet Savola and department requirements, policies, and standards
• Issue a quarterly report showing the actual production vs. sales forecast.

Health, Safety, & Environment

• Monitor the adherence to all relevant safety and environmental management procedures and controls to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude
