  • Policy Development: Create and maintain clear, fair, and consistent disciplinary policies and procedures in alignment with the school's mission and values.
  • Behavior Management: Address student behavioral issues through intervention, counseling, and disciplinary actions. Ensure that consequences are appropriate and support students' growth and learning.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and confidential records of student behavior incidents, disciplinary actions, and follow-up measures. Prepare reports as needed for school administration.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for behavior-related concerns. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to address behavioral issues and develop action plans.
  • Collaboration: Work with teachers and staff to provide support and guidance on managing classroom behavior and implementing positive behavior reinforcement strategies.
  • Conflict Resolution: Mediate conflicts between students and resolve disputes in a constructive manner. Facilitate conflict resolution programs and restorative practices as needed.
  • Support Programs: Develop and implement programs and initiatives to promote positive behavior and a respectful school culture. Provide support and training for staff on behavior management techniques.
  • Compliance: Ensure that disciplinary practices comply with relevant laws, regulations, and school policies. Stay informed about best practices and emerging trends in student discipline and behavior management.
  • Crisis Management: Respond to and manage crises involving student behavior. Coordinate with school security and emergency services as necessary.
  • Parental Engagement: Engage with parents and guardians to discuss behavioral issues, develop action plans, and provide support to reinforce positive behavior at home.
