We are looking for a Apparel Pattern Maker to join our team at Alexandria.
Job Description
- Create industrial pattern templates by interpreting drawings produced by a fashion designer
- Use computer design software to make up some patterns.
- Has a wide knowledge about pattern grading.
- Able to create accurate size tables for all kind of products (outer wear – underwear)(knit wear & Woven wear) (Men, Women & Kids).
- Drape, shape and pin fabrics over a Mannequin & check fitting.
- Cut out a pattern based on the shaped fabric pieces.
- Work with machinists to make up clothing samples based on the pattern.
- Work with designers to make alterations or adjustments to the final pattern.
- Good knowledge of the types and properties of fabrics.
- Able to interpret a design concept and put it on paper.
- Understand the structure of the product; organize the pre-production meeting according to the samples.
- Report all the working points in detail comprehensively and accurately.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in making patterns for all types of garments.- Good sewing skills.- Detail oriented.- Good computer skills, especially with software design packages.- Very Good command of MS Office applications.- Good communication and teamwork spirit, can work under pressures.
