Financial Planning & Analysis:

• Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
• Analyze financial performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights that will enable management to determine progress against strategic/business plans.

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and presentations for the board of directors, shareholders, and executive management.

Cost Management:

• Oversee the cost accounting functions, ensuring that costs are accurately recorded, reported, and analyzed.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.

Cash Flow Management:

• Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity for operations.
• Develop strategies to optimize cash flow and minimize financial risk.

Compliance & Risk Management:

• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate policies.
• Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of controls, accuracy of financial records, and efficiency of operations.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and manage the finance team, providing mentorship, training, and performance evaluations.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the finance team.

Strategic Financial Guidance:

• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic business decisions.
• Collaborate with other department heads to understand their financial needs and assist in budget preparation.

Stakeholder Management:

• Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.
• Represent the finance department in meetings with senior management and stakeholders.
