Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Analyze financial performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights that will enable management to determine progress against strategic/business plans.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and presentations for the board of directors, shareholders, and executive management.
Cost Management:
- Oversee the cost accounting functions, ensuring that costs are accurately recorded, reported, and analyzed.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
Cash Flow Management:
- Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity for operations.
- Develop strategies to optimize cash flow and minimize financial risk.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate policies.
- Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of controls, accuracy of financial records, and efficiency of operations.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage the finance team, providing mentorship, training, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the finance team.
Strategic Financial Guidance:
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic business decisions.
- Collaborate with other department heads to understand their financial needs and assist in budget preparation.
Stakeholder Management:
- Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.
- Represent the finance department in meetings with senior management and stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Professional certification such as CPA, CMA.15 years of experience in financial management.Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (GAAP, IFRS, etc.).Proficiency in financial management software and MS Office (particularly Excel).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong leadership and team management abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Preferred Skills:Experience with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.Familiarity with the financial regulations and tax laws of Egypt.
