Senior Quantity Surveyor Engineer

Prepare and maintain project cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports.

Monitor project expenditures to ensure they remain within approved budgets.

Provide accurate forecasts of final costs and manage cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle.

Measure and value the work done on-site and verify the quantities and costs claimed by contractors.

Prepare bills of quantities, schedules of works, and other tender documentation.

Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and ensure work is being completed according to the contract.

Administer contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.

Review and negotiate variations, claims, and disputes with contractors and suppliers.

Prepare and submit interim and final payment applications to clients, and manage payments to contractors.

Identify potential cost risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Monitor market trends, material prices, and labor rates to adjust cost estimates and forecasts as necessary.

Prepare and present detailed cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and financial statements to management.

Maintain accurate records of all project costs, variations, and financial transactions.


Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying and cost management, with a proven track record in managing large-scale projects.Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and cost management principles.
