Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement storage solutions for enterprise-level systems.
- Manage and maintain SAN switches and associated hardware.
- Oversee backup processes and ensure data protection protocols are followed.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate storage and backup solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies in storage solutions and data protection.
Required Skills:Proficiency in managing storage arrays, SAN fabric, and backup software.Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.Familiarity with large-scale enterprise backup solutions and networking.Knowledge of performance management and capacity planning for storage systems.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.Relevant professional certifications are advantageous.Desirable Experience:Prior role in a similar capacity, with a focus on storage and backup engineering.Hands-on experience in Storage with Dell, Pure Storage, NetApp.Hands-on experience in Backup solutions with Veritas, Commvault and Dell DPSSupporting critical applications on physical and virtual platforms.Personal Attributes:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.**Additional Information**:The role may require participation in an on-call rotation for emergency support outside of standard business hours.
