One of a leading real estate and construction company need to hire an “Accounting Manager” Roll for its head office in new Cairo.
Job Description
Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to:
• Supervise Accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash, general ledger, and taxes.
• Help with year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit.
• Assess current practices and procedures and make recommendations for improvements.
• Prepare, review, and analyze trail balance to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested.
• Monitor and analyses accounting data and trail balance.
• Set up and monitor accounting KPIs.
• Encourage other employees to adhere to standard.
• Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project managers and department heads to develop and monitor projects progress.
• knowledge of accounting standards and procedures, especially those related to the construction and real estate industry.
• Good understanding of construction and real estate accounting treatments.
Bachelor's degree in accounting from a reputable university.• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization.• Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.• Knowledge of employee relationship building and performance management techniques.• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.• 7-10 years in Construction and Real Estate is a MUST. This is a full-time position and reports directly to finance manager.
